James Freeman
Head Chef

James joins us with an impressive background, having worked in some of the UK and Ireland’s most respected Michelin-starred kitchens, from Bohemia and Ormer in Jersey to Tudor Room at Great Fosters and The House Restaurant at Cliff House Hotel in Ireland. Most recently, he was Head Chef at The Woodspeen in Newbury, leading both the restaurant and cookery school.

Danilo Sciagura
Restaurant Manager

Danilo began his hospitality journey in Italy, where he studied Hotel Management before gaining hands-on experience working summer seasons in five-star hotels across Liguria and Tuscany. This early foundation sparked a passion for food, service, and the craft of creating memorable dining experiences.

In 2008, Danilo moved to London to further his career, beginning as a Commis at The Lanesborough. Over the following seventeen years, he built an impressive career across some of the city’s most respected five-star hotels and restaurants, including Royal Garden Hotel, Blakes Hotel, Chiltern Firehouse, The Petersham Hotel, The Cadogan, and The Berkeley. Most recently, he held the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Murano by Angela Hartnett.

Throughout his career, Danilo has developed a well-rounded knowledge of food and beverage operations, with experience spanning restaurant service, bar, events, and room service. He brings this breadth of experience, alongside a calm and thoughtful approach to hospitality, to his role as Restaurant Manager at Beach House.

Bibi Ivanova
Pastry Chef

Bibi’s career has taken her through the kitchens of The Fat Duck in Bray, Coworth Park, and most recently The Artichoke in Amersham, each one helping to shape her technical skill and creative flair.

Since joining the team, Bibi has embraced the Beach House ethos with ease. Her refined pastry work and instinctive understanding of our style have brought a new dimension to the kitchen, one that feels both exciting and completely at home.

Her desserts are thoughtful, elegant, and beautifully balanced, and the perfect way to finish your Beach House experience.
