Kitchen
James joins us with an impressive background, having worked in some of the UK and Ireland’s most respected Michelin-starred kitchens, from Bohemia and Ormer in Jersey to Tudor Room at Great Fosters and The House Restaurant at Cliff House Hotel in Ireland. Most recently, he was Head Chef at The Woodspeen in Newbury, leading both the restaurant and cookery school.
Restaurant
Megan was always destined to work in the hospitality industry, and got her first taste as a teenager when she worked for a catering company alongside her mum. From here, her love of food grew, and she developed a real passion in trying new and unusual foods.
Her career has taken her across a wide range of different restaurants, gastro pubs and coffee shops, and prior to joining us, she was Head Waitress at the Lake Country House Hotel in Brecon. Megan joined the Beach House team as Chef de Rang in 2021, and since then her role has evolved as she’s taken on more responsibility, working her way up to Restaurant Manager in early 2024.
Outside work, Megan is a huge film buff and is often in the cinema catching the latest releases. When she’s not sat in a screen, her other passion is cooking at home with her husband Sam.
Kitchen
Bibi’s career has taken her through the kitchens of The Fat Duck in Bray, Coworth Park, and most recently The Artichoke in Amersham, each one helping to shape her technical skill and creative flair.
Since joining the team, Bibi has embraced the Beach House ethos with ease. Her refined pastry work and instinctive understanding of our style have brought a new dimension to the kitchen, one that feels both exciting and completely at home.
Her desserts are thoughtful, elegant, and beautifully balanced, and the perfect way to finish your Beach House experience.

Lunch 12pm – 2pm / Dinner 6:30pm – 8:15pm
Beach House is closed between all lunch and dinner services.
